Heimatverein Charlottenburg e.V.

The Heimatverein (Local Association) Charlottenburg e.V. sees its tasks in the promotion of cultural aims, especially the promotion of concern about the locality through the development of solidarity/close bonds with Charlottenburg and Berlin as a historic, social and cultural experience of space, promotion of regional-historical education and research as well as support for the work of the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf Museum.

The appearance of the town and its conservation should be helped further by action for maintenance and restoration of recognized historic buildings. A further cause of the association is the remembrance and honouring of personalities who have given their service to Charlottenburg, for instance cooperation with the Commission for memorial plaques.
